Roland from NetbookNews.de attended the AMD launch event in Canes France and was able to get his hands on the new 11.6-inch Packard Bell Netbook dot.a with the new AMD Athlon II Neo K125 single-core processor which runs at 1.7 GHz. The system is running the AMD ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics chip which will play HD full HD content properly and with out issue. The Packard Bell dot.a is the successor of the Packard Bell dot m/a. The design does not remind us of the Acer Aspire timeline notebooks except, which are an Acer-Packard Bell subsidiaries.
For connectivity we are seeing HDMI, VGA, 3 USB 2.0 and Wifi. (We are not sure about Bluetooth on this unit) The screen resolution is a nice 1366 x 768 with a windows experience index of 3.3.
