The Nvidia Tegra zone is consistently full of games with fantastic graphics and the latest title that is coming soon is Hockey Nation 2011. If you’re into hockey you’ll love that you’ve got your choice of 18 international hockey teams, or 40 customisable ‘city’ teams so you should find a jersey to suit you. There are over seven game modes including a World League and quick-fire Shootouts.

One of the highlights of the game stay’s true to hockey’s nature and you’ll be able to enjoy a fighting mini-game that you can start up on the ice. So when the other team steps out of line, game play won’t just carry on, you can tuck in and do some damage before you get thrown into the penalty box.

Since this title is being released on the Nvidia Tegra platfrom it does come with enchanced graphical effects such as specular mapping on the players (allowing some bits to be shinier than others) and animated crowds. If you’ve already been playing it on the iPad you’ll be pleased to know that this will be the best looking version of the game thanks to all the improved graphics.
We have no word yet on a release date or price for Hockey Nations 2011 THD, but it will be available “soon”.
