Vizio definitely had media consumption in mind when they created their 8-inch, budget Android tablet, adding 3 speakers so that in either portrait or landscape mode, there would be stereo sound. They also built in remote functionality for AV equipment. Additionally, it was one of the first tablets to get Hulu Plus certification.
Today, existing and new users of the Vizio tablet will be getting a software update for the Hulu Plus app. They can sign up for a new Hulu Plus account and enjoy 3 free months of Hulu Plus service.
Though details regarding existing Hulu Plus users are slightly unclear, it’s likely that this offer is only available to new Hulu Plus subscribers. Hulu Plus costs $7.99 a month and has access to full seasons for many different TV shows. When a user signs up, credit card information is needed because, unless the service is canceled at the end of the 3-month free trial, the service will be auto-renewed, so be aware of that.
