Google has been naming the versions of its Android operating system alphabetically since it released Android version 1.0 in September 2008. Each version is developed under a code name which has been based on a dessert. So far we’ve had Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb and Ice Cream Sandwich. The letter J is coming up next and there have been rumors that it is going to be Jelly Bean, but its still anyone’s guess.

What do you think? Do you think Jell-O was trademarked? Or do you have a preferred name that you would like to see Google lean towards? Let us know in the comments.
