Imagine that, Samsung releases a tablet out that isn’t banned for sale in Germany! Its particularly exciting because its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7, held down best 7″ tablet, so we’re keen to find out if the Galaxy Tab 7.0 is a clear step up.

Specification wise its an obvious improvement, it features a PLS LCD display with 1024 by 600 pixels of resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. On the Software side, Android 3.2 Honeycomb comes out of the box beautified by Samsung’s very own TouchWiz user interface. In addition, there is a 21Mbps HSPA+ radio on board so you can connected to the web when you’re on the go.

The video below shows off exactly how smooth this 7 inch tablet performs, its personally my fovorite form factor. The reason being is that I use my tablet often when I’m on the go, which means standing up. Its too difficult to thumb type on a 10 inch tablet but is a breeze on a 7 inch. The display looks fantastic although I do wish that they had put in a 1280 x 800 display to give it a few a few extra pixels.

why would you say you wish they “had put a 1280 x 800 display to give it a few a few extra pixels.” when the 7.7 is the device that will have those specs.
