Just a quick post about the Google Docs app for Honeycomb tablets, it’s been updated to be more tablet-optimized. It now has a 3-pane layout for easy viewing of your documents list, filters and collections, and document details all at the same time.

The document details panel on the right has a thumbnail view so users can preview documents before opening them. It also shows a useful list of people who have access to the document, as well as information about whether or not they can edit the file. Furthermore, when sharing a document, the updated app will autofill collaborators’ e-mail addresses to make sharing easier.

The updated Google Docs app is available in the Android Market now.
