The Acer AC700 has been around for a few months now, but we’ve only just gotten our own hands on video with the device. The Acer AC700 is a sleek 11.6 inch display running with Intel’s Atom 1.66 GHz N570 dual core processor, followed by 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 16 GB SSD. Lets also not forget it weights about 2.95 lbs wielding a 6-cell battery. It has 2 USB ports, a 4-in-1card reader and 802.11b/g/n WiFi.

Having been designed to run Google Chrome OS the Acer AC700 Chromebook is available on Amazon for $349 and has a similar set of ideals when in comparison to theSamsung Series 5 Chromebook, except for three small differences. As for the untrained or naked eye, the details of both are very similar. Samsung’s Series 5 Chromebook is starting at $429.99 making it slightly more expensive than the Acer AC700. The Samsung Series 5 model has a 12.1 inch display ever so slightly larger than the AC700 and the battery life of Samsung’s Series 5 claims to last about 6.5 hours as to the AC700 promises 6.
