ExoPC has been a favorite of Netbook News since we saw it at Computex two years ago. They’ve got their 11.6″ tablet with their custom UI and now ExoPC is spreading with Windows 7 user interface by licencing it to SKYTEX Technology and their upcoming Skytab. The tablet uses a dual-core, 1.5GHz Atom N550 CPU and sports a 9.7-inch, 1024×768 capacitive multitouch display that has as many as four points of touch recognition. Also on board is 2GB of RAM.

There is also an HDMI output onboard, along with a front-facing 1.3-megapixel webcam. Two USB 2.0 ports, a microSD memory card slot, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are also built-in, while a 3G radio is optional. The tablet is now available for pre-order at an unspecified price, with shipments due to start early in October.
If you haven’t seen the ExoPC UI in action below is our hands on video.
