Have you seen a great speaker dock, only to be disappointed because it’s for the iPhone, and you have an Android (or other mobile-OS) device? Sure, many of these speaker docks have an aux-in port, but what if this particular dock doesn’t? And what if you need to put the device on charge at the same time?

The Dockboss+ cable from Cablejive is a convenient cable that connects to the 30-pin dock connector on a speaker dock to provide audio input via your device’s 3.5mm jack, as well as a power cable for devices that charge over micro-USB. The Dockboss+ will also help a non-iDevice user out with iDevice-specific car stereo systems. It’s a clean, one-cable solution to open up the world of iDevice AV equipment to other smartphones or tablets, or even old-school MP3 players, if that’s how you roll. The Dockboss+ cable will be available starting next week, on Sept. 28 from Cablejive’s site.
