Found this on my morning YouTube search today. Great 2 Min video about which device to get your mom for Mother’s day based on her level of comfort with technology products.
One of the key things with mom’s, well my mom anyways, she’s not tech savy, but she’s on the road for work. A netbook changed her work habits because she was more productive on the go. But I did take the time to show her all the other devices, even though she likes to read her comment on the kindle was, but it doesn’t smell like paper. Oddly enough a deal breaker for her, I gave her the argument about light weight media, having thousands of books at the palm of her hand, but even though this should have been the ideal gift, it clearly wasn’t.
So for mother’s, the strange wonderful and lovely creatures that they are, spend sometime with them, take them out and show them the gadgets. The look on their face and the questions they ask should be indication enough as to which gadget you should be picking them up.
