this is an early build of the KDE Plasma Netbook Workspace running on top of MeeGo on an Eee PC 1005HA.

KDE offers a user interface that has been custom tailored to the usage patterns of Netbooks. Their interface comes pre-configured with a selection of useful widgets ready to be used. They also offer you the ability to adjust your workspace by adding and customizing pages of widgets using drag-and-drop. As you can see they have their interface working on top of MeeGo. It is a bit glitchy but MeeGo has only been demoed by Intel, so this is the first MeeGo netbook that we are seeing in the wild. You’ll be able to see their widgets working and the first thing that you notice is that it looks nothing like Moblin or MeeGo, it looks like previous KDE Plasma workspaces.

The KDE Plasma Netbook workspace traditionally has been available for Linux and Unix Users so that they are claiming thier interface is running faster on MeeGo says good things about this new operating system. I’m trying to find out if they had tried doing anything with Moblin.

Pretty cool. Don't know why so much time had to be spent on the Solitaire game, though. It got its point across after the first few seconds.. nothing gained in the minute of flipping cards.
