The Sony store has just put up the Tablet S up for pre-order in the US with shipping dates “on or about” September 16. The 16GB version is going to cost you $499 and the 32GB will cost you $599. Incidentally this is the same date that we’ve heard about for the Tablet S release in Canada and England, so it looks like Sony is going to be ramping up for a global launch for this product. If you were looking to pick it up off Amazon.com is also showing a shipping date of September 16.
If you were hoping for news on the Sony Tablet P we still have now word on when that dual screen tablet will be hitting the streets. But hopefully it won’t be long since its a pretty interesting device.
