It seems that a sticker on the back of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 proclaiming that it is not for sale in Germany wasn’t enough to satisfy the Apple injunction against Samsung sales of the Galaxy Tab there.

A while ago, Apple was granted an initial injunction against Samsung barring sales of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 due to similarities between it and the iPad/iPad 2. When IFA 2011 came around, it looked like Samsung was trying to be safe by putting the stickers on the Galaxy Tab 7.7, since it has a similar design to the Galaxy Tab 10.1. Then when Samsung pulled the Galaxy Tab 7.7 demo units and signage from their booth, it looked like another “better safe than sorry” move. However, now it appears that Apple was recently granted a second injunction barring sales of the Galaxy Tab 7.7 in Germany, on September 2nd, which clarifies the reasoning behind the changes to the Samsung booth at IFA. Of course, Samsung will be fighting these injunctions.

Here are some photos documenting the removal of all mentions of the Galaxy Tab 7.7 from the Samsung booth at IFA 2011:
