This isn’t official but that pre-order page for the Asus Eee Pad Slider over at ExcaliberPC we mentioned previously has been updated. There are now two models, and pricing has been revealed. The 16GB model costs $479 while the 32GB model costs $579. Still no ETA but I’d expect them out in September. It’s already available in some countries – some parts of Europe and Taiwan at least – that is, Wi-Fi only models. 3G models are expected later on.
We already know the specs but here’s a recap on them – There’s obviously the slide-out keyboard which is the stand out feature and then a 10.1″ 1280 x 800 IPS display, Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of DDR2 RAM, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 25Wh li-poly battery good for up to 9.5 hours and Android 3.1 (it may ship with Android 3.2 which is already available for the Eee Pad Slider, who knows yet). Connectivity includes a USB port, MicroSD card reader and mini HDMI out.
