Even though the HP webOS devices have been discontinued, webOS software development is continuing as normal. Some would say that with the influx of new TouchPad users, developers for webOS have even more reason to continue developing and/or updating their webOS apps. One of the developers keeping webOS users happy is Quickoffice.
Their Quickoffice HD suite is included on TouchPads, but up until now, users could only view their MS Office documents. Today a much-anticipated update has been released to enable users to create and edit Office documents straight from their TouchPads. Combine this with the Box.net cloud storage app also available for the Touchpad, and you have a very compelling mobile setup for managing your Office documents without a laptop or desktop.
So if you have a TouchPad, fire up Software Manager now and check for the Quickoffice update!
