We’re a way off from Fujitsu’s transparent tablet but coming up pretty soon is the company’s ruggedized 10-inch tablet that was discovered earlier this month. Initially Fujitsu was rumored to be working on a 7-inch tablet but nothing has came of that and now there’s a 10-incher that’s come to light. According to rumor it was going to be billed as a “high spec, waterproof” tablet and released with LTE over in Japan on Docomo’s Xi network.

Today, there’s proof this tablet exists. A pamphlet confirms that it indeed is a waterproof Fujitsu tablet, and not just waterproof but all-round rugged. There’s confirmation of model no. F-01D and it heading to Docomo. Apparently it’s named the “Arrows Tab”. Further specs have been revealed from last time – it has a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 display (capacitive 10-point multi-touch), a dual-core TI OMAP 4430 1.0GHz processor (same as Playbook), Android 3.1 Honeycomb, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, b/g/n Wi-Fi, GPS, 1.3MP / 5.0MP front and rear cameras, micro USB, micro SD card reader and a Micro SIM card slot and a 1-seg TV tuner. It weighs 599g and measures 262 x 181 x 11.5mm in size.

The tablet is expected to be announced in early September and launched at the end of that month, along with the Galaxy Tab 10.1 over in Japan according to a product roadmap from earlier this month.
