Those with either an Eee Pad Transformer or Acer Iconia Tab A501 may be familiar with the pre-installed TegraZone app, especially if you’re into gaming (not sure if both have it pre-installed). TegraZone is Nvidia’s little portal to promote Tegra powered games with the games themselves, HD gameplay videos, game developer interviews, high-res screenshots and game reviews.
So far it has existed only as an app in the Android Marketplace but now the app has found its way to the web, while the app itself has been updated with some new features including free game demos, better Facebook integration, Android notifications of new content and more. A few additional countries have been added to the support list – Japan, UK and India, in addition to previously supported countries: the US, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Russia and Spain.
To top off the TegraZone web launch, Nvidia are giving away five Acer Iconia Tab A500 tablets, powered by Nvidia Tegra 2, of course, on this page. You’ll have to reside in North America and be at least 18 y.o.
Check out our YouTube channel as we often review games from TegraZone. The latest was of Sprinkle, as seen in the screenshot above.
