X10 AirPad a Sub $200 1.2Ghz 7 inch Tablet

Only have $200 for an Android Tablet and can’t get a hold of the $99 Touchpad? X10 has come out with the Airpad that is offering a decent product for the price point, of course its nothing like HPs WebOS device but its still worth a look because of its 1.2GHz Rockchip 2918 processor.

TheX10 Airpad has a 7-inch display with a 800×480 resolution which is below the average 1024×600 we normally see in this size tablet. This does mean that the dual core 1.2 GHz Rockchip processor will have less pixels to look after, which does mean faster performance. The tablet will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread with 512MB of RAM and a tiny 4GB on internal storage but it does have a micro SD card slot to expand the memory. We’ve also got a 2MP camera to go with the 4000 mAh batter which should give you 6 hours of multimedia playback or 4 hours of Wifi 802.11 b/g Internet access. There’s also HDMI out for 1080p playback, a full-size USB port, mini (not micro) USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
