China has been lucky enough to be the testing ground for a few products before they get global launches. The Razer Switchblade is the big one that comes to mind. So when Lenovo started marketing the LePad A1-07 tablet in China, we wonder which country is going to be next. We haven’t seen this tablet hit the press preview circuit yet so we’re not sure if its even going to be available in the US. What we do know from the advertisements is that the seven-inch tablet will be based on Android 2.3, rather than a Honeycomb build geared for 10-inch displays.

The device centers around a 1GHz TI OMAP processor paired with 512MB of RAM and 16GB of integrated storage. Other features include a 1024×600 touchscreen, dual cameras, and a microSD slot for storage expansion. The A1-07 sells in China for ¥2,500 (~$391 USD), however pricing and launch information for the US remains unclear.
