We know they are coming, that’s the word on the street anyways, Nokia devices smartphones or tablets with larger screens. Accordign Chinese paper Commerical Times, Comal is building a 4″ Maemo-based handset for Nokia which isn’t expected to launch until the second half of 2011. We assume that it will be running MeeGo since Meamos development is going to port over and the specs would hold.

This device is supposed to be based on a Qualcomm 7000-series chipset, which most likely would mean a Snapdragon family SoC. This would exclude Qualcomm’s upcoming dual-core 1.5GHz MSM8×72. The only thing that would make this story better is if a Moorestown CPU was used and this merger from Nokia & Intel can be realized 2H of 2011, but it seems we will have to wait for another rumor.
