A 12.5-inch laptop with a super slim bezel? Why, Samsung’s newly released Samsung Series 3 laptop right? Well before that there was the LG P220 which debuted back at CES at the start of this year. The LG P220 had a 12.5-inch 1366 x 768 display touting IPS goodness with a super slim bezel, Intel Core processors, a chiclet keyboard, flush trackpad, weight tipping in at under three pounds / 1.3 kg with a thickness of just 0.82 inches / 20.9 mm. It’s being touted as a 12.5-incher but in an 11.6-inch form factor.
There are several real-life shots of the LG P220 over at imidoresc.
The laptop will now launch over in Korea this month and following that over in Europe somewhere. No word on pricing. It’ll be available in several colors – white, pink and blue.
Some additional specs on the LG P220 – it’s got a second-gen Intel Core i5 processor, Intel HD graphics, 2 / 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 250 / 320GB 7mm HDD, a 1.3MP webcam, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, a RJ45 port, Bluetooth 3.0 + HS, HD Audio, DLNA support, one USB 2.0 port, HDMI out and a 4-in-1 card reader. Battery life is rated at about 5.5 hours.
