If you’ve ever been down on the beach and needed to charge your mP3 player, Andrew Schneider of Brooklyn has created a solar powered Bikini that will charge your gadgets via USB.
The suit uses conductive thread and thin photo-voltaic panels, creating a sort of chain-mail fabric that gives the bikini a medieval armor-meets-21st century look. The solar power absorbed by the panels charges any gadget that can be plugged into the suit’s USB ports, sewn right into the fabric.
If the sight of this model isn’t enough for the men reading this post and want their own technology driven swimwear Schneider is in the process of creating a men’s suit to chill beers which he’s calling the iDrink.
The kicker to this sexy suit is that you can actually take in in the water, you just have to make sure you’re totally dry before you try charging your gadgets!
