Nokia N9 Gets Launch Date with Orange in Switzerland

This much anticipated smartphone is officially running MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan, the hardware is stunning, the glass fits seamlessly and curves over the bezel, they’ve also included swipe gestures for navigation so there is no need for a home key. Regarding the hardware the screen polycarbonate is the same colour through out so if it scratches they wont be visible.

Its got a 3.9-inch capacitive AMOLED Gorilla glass touch screen, 8 megapixel auto-focus rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash and 720p video, front facing camera, 1GHz Cortex-A8 processor, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, 16GB or 64GB internal storage, 3.5mm jack and of course the Meego operating system.

Orange has posted a listing for the smartphone on its page as an upcoming product, however, it looks like they haven’t announced what pricing the phone will be available at. For now, all we know is that the device will launch on September 15th.
