Despite Intel and Microsoft’s upcoming new rules and regulations for netbooks and Windows 7, HiPhone has launched the iLaptop-2009 which is part of a slowly growing group of 12-inch netbooks.
The iLaptop-2009 doesn’t really stand out from the crowd in terms of features apart from the 1,280×800 display. It has an Atom N270 processor, 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 160GB hard drive, 802.11a/b/g WiFi, a memory card reader, webcam and 10/100Mbit Ethernet.
It measures 302x215x22mm (WxDxH) and weighs in at about 1.4kg with what we guess is a 3-cell battery. At US$450 it doesn’t look like amazing value, but it might appeal for those looking for a netbook with a larger and higher resolution displahy. You can find the product page here
