Samsung has announced it will be holding a UI updating event on August 3rd for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. If you’re living in the New York Area and feel like heading down you can have your tablet updated to the latest build. If you don’t live in NYC well, you can expect an over the aid update. What can we expect from this update? Samsung will add their custom TouchWiz user interface, which includes live panels and mini apps, as well as a redesigned Samsung Hub application. It will also install Words with Friends, Amazon’s Cloud Player for music and Amazon’s Kindle software. If you want to get it first head down to the Samsung Experience Store at Columbus Circle between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to get your device updated first!
