The ASUS Eee Box EB1007 isn’t a grand evolution in nettops, basically the only different this one has to offer is a new Intel Atom Pinetrail Processor the single core 1.66 GHz D410. This 2.6 pound nettop also come with 1GB DDR2 RAM, 160GB 2.5″ Hard drive, 6 USB 2.0 Ports, card reader, S/PIF and D-Sub ports as well as an eSATA connector. This wifi enabled unit is an average 8.8″ x 7″ x 1.1″ other options include a keyboard, mouse, stand and VESA mount kit so you can hide it away on the back of your TV or monitor.
We don’t know when this media machine will be available or how much it will cost, we are also guessing that it will be running Windows 7, which edition is still unclear.
