You may not be quite familiar with ZTE products in the US but they are quite commonplace in Asia, and most of what I’ve seen in terms of tablets at events has been on the budget end. In March, ZTE decided to make bigger inroads into the US market with a couple of higher end devices due in the latter half of 2011 – a 4.3-inch smartphone and a 10-inch tablet.

Could this tablet be the ZTE V55 tablet that got leaked from a Sprint document today? There’s no info on the tablet but it’s due out in Q1 of 2012. That 10-inch tablet announced back in March is supposed to have a 10.1″ 1280 x 800 display, 1.2GHz processor, Android Honeycomb, front and rear cameras and a 6,800mAh battery.
If not that 10-incher or a yet unannounced one, then the only other tablet left, that has been mentioned previously, would be the ZTE Light 2 – a 7″ tablet with a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chip and a 1024 x 600 display.
