News about a 7-inch Lenovo IdeaPad dates back to last December, before we even saw the revised (downsized) IdeaPad Hybrid U1. It took four months before we heard about it again: A Lenovo tablet roadmap was leaked in April showing a 7-inch tablet with a dual-core ARM chip, 1280 x 800 resolution display and Android Honeycomb.
Now the tablet has shown up at the FCC as the Lenovo IdeaPad A1 – no pictures nor schematics just yet though. We’ve heard nothing about a release date but I’d guess at the end of the year. Lenovo’s also rumored to have a IdeaPad K1 sequel due out in September or October in addition to those three newly announced tablets the other day. Busy schedule.
