There has been a lot of hype around the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 as its the thinnest tablet currently on the market. We’ve read the reviews and followed the hype, but we really didn’t understand it until we unboxed it and compared it to the other tablets on the market. After the unboxing we put the form factor head to head with the the iPad 2, the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer, the ACER Iconia Tab A500 and the HP Touchpad. At Netbook News we’ve placed the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer at the top of the Android tablet pile since it hit the streets, its docking station provides it with a versatility for productivity that you just don’t have with a stand along tablet, of course the tablet itself if great with its form factor and zippy UI. We’ve got our review of the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 here, spoiler alert…we love it! However, if you’re after a comparison to see how the form factor and hardware play out against the rest of the tablet ecosystem you’re going to want to check out the video below.
