It’s Apple vs. Samsung and the battle is only getting bigger.
Just a few days ago Phandroid reported Samsung was filing a lawsuit with the request to ban the sale of Apple products in the U.S. Well, now Apples firing back (again) with some requests of their own.
Apple has recently filed a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission banning the import of Samsung mobile devices from the U.S., according to Bloomberg. the complaint is organized in thoughts that Samsung had violated 4 technical patents and 2 design patents applying to six smart phones and two tablets. Smartphones: Galaxy S 4G, Fascinate, Tranform, Captivate, Intercept, and Infuse 4G. Tablets: Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Tab 10.1.
This all started with Apples initial lawsuit in April over Samsung violating their patents and it seems the battle wont be receding anytime in the near future. The smart thing they would do in this situation that also matches the word on the street would be cross-licensing their technology to end the legal battle and prevent more lawsuits like these in the future.
