Update – Looks like this information was not meant to go public yet. Liliputing took down the article at Lenovo’s request. Brad suggests to take the release dates with a grain of salt.
While Lenovo hasn’t yet officially acknowledged either the Thinkpad Tablet or the IdeaPad K1 to the public, they’ve just let affiliate members know the announcement dates for both. The IdeaPad K1 is scheduled to be announced late this month or early July which matches the global launch date mentioned numerous times in the past, and the ThinkPad tablet is scheduled to be announced on June 28, next week. We’d expect an early announcement because the tablet should go on sale in August priced from $499. If you care about mini desktops – there’s a new IdeaCentre Q180 expected to be announced on August 30. Haven’t heard anything on that one.
