Update: Japan is also getting the Android 3.1 update to the Acer Iconia Tab A500, but in late July.
The Asus Eee Pad Transformer and the Acer Iconia Tab A500 are the two most popular, affordable 10-inch Android Honeycomb tablets on the market right now. The Transformer got its Android 3.1 update pretty quickly but the A500 is still stuck on a prior version of Honeycomb. Acer promised the update this month but so far nothing, well, unless you live in Germany. Acer’s just announced the 3.1 update will arrive over there on July 5.
