Every other tablet that comes on to the market seems to claim that they are the next IPK (iPad Killer) and Impression 10 is no different. This 9.1″ tablet is running the older 1GHz Samsung process and Android 2.2 on its capacitive IPS touch screen. So far spec wise I’m not seeing a tablet that is going to take down Apple’s lead. The panel however theoretically is meant to give the same image quality and responsive touch as an iPad, even extending to the 1024×768 resolution.
Under the hood we’ve got 4GB of internal storage, although a microSDHC slot can take up to 32GB more and the battery life is only 6 hours. In a practical differentiation there is no rear facing camera but it has a two-megapixel front facing camera as well as HDMI out. Is this the next IPK, certainly not, but the reason we’re telling you about it is that if you are looking for a tablet with a great display, decent processor at a very low price, then at $350 the Impression 10 might be for you.
