According to an article at PC Pro (UK) Asus will start shipping netbooks with Ubuntu 10.10 across Europe from today, on Eee PC models 1001PXD, 1011PX and 1015PX. No word on pricing or a rollout outside of Europe but you can be sure this is happening in developing nations too. Canonical VP of OEM services Chris Kenyon expects to ship “well over 10 million units pre-installed with Ubuntu” this year and over the years has been seeing increasing demand for Linux and Ubuntu with consumers and small businesses.
