Back in January some specs bubbled up to the surface and everyone thought they were an update of the Vaio W, but the battery configuration led us to believe that it was in fact a new netbook. To read that article please click here. It looks like it was true, there is a new kid on the block that has learned from the mistakes that usually plague Sony’s netbook line, over priced, under performed with shockingly low battery life.
The Vaio M has a 10.1 inch display and a 1.66GHz Intel Atom Pineview N450 processor. The laptop has a 4400mAh battery and 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth. It will be available with 1GB to 2GB of memory and a 250GB or 320GB hard drive. Just like the FCC documents back in January predicted.
