We’ve seen the Acer Iconia Tab A100 7-inch Android Honeycomb tablet go up for pre-order in the UK, which suggested the tablet should show up across Europe first although we haven’t heard any official release dates yet. As far as the US is concerned, there is one now as confirmed by This is my next.

It will be released sometime in Q3, so that means anywhere from the start of July to the end of the of September. That’s definitely at least a month or two away from those UK pre-order dates we’ve seen. There’s no word on pricing but given UK pricing at 300 and 400 pounds for Wi-Fi and 3G versions respectively and 450 pounds for the 10-inch Wi-Fi A500, that should translate to $300 and $400.

Check out the source for hands on thoughts and images on the A100 finally running Honeycomb. We’ve only ever seen it running Android 2.2 at the tech events.
