As the title says, nothing to get excited about here. We’re not looking at a new 11.6-incher with this HP 3105M but just a rebranded HP Pavilion DM1z for the business sections of HP’s sites. There are a few minor differences; base config RAM starts at 2GB instead of 3GB, MediaSmart is removed (media playing app? no loss) and more Windows 7 editions, Linux and FreeDOS OS options.
Other than that they both share the same 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 glossy display, AMD Fusion E-350 Zacate APU with Radeon HD 6310 graphics, 6-cell 55Wh battery good for up to 9.5 hours and whatever storage and RAM options you configure. It’s not listed at HP US where there’s already the HP Mini 1103, HP Mini 5103 and HP Slate 500 listed where this should go.
