While a lot of other countries will be able to get their hands on an ASUS Eee Pad Transformer very soon, if not already, the tablet has yet to even show up for pre-order in the US, well, without getting taken down. ASUS Facebook explains that demand has been incredible and that they’ve entirely sold out on stock but don’t mention anything about when to expect it while Joanna Stern, formerly of Engadget, confirmed with a source on when it’s actually coming. It’ll hit retail by the end of April. $399 for the 16GB, WiFi model at Best Buy (as we’ve seen temporarily) and other retailers.
The dock, as we confirmed the other day, will be $149. No mention of any tablet / dock bundling pricing though, or pricing for the 32GB model although European pricing seems to be 1:1 with US pricing which would mean the 32GB model would be priced at $499. The only listing I can find at the moment, that’s still up, is at Newegg.
