Following up the very recent official pre-order of the Acer Iconia Tab A100 in the US is sighting of the Iconia W500 up for pre-order at BHPhotoVideo, although Acer hasn’t mentioned anything official for it in the US. This is a 10-inch tablet, based on AMD Fusion with keyboard dock (included here). Priced at $549 and is expected to ship after Friday, April 15, next week.
The specs listed: a 10.1″ 1280 x 800 TFT display, AMD C-50 processor (9W, dual core 1GHz), Radeon HD 6250 graphics, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 32GB SSD, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, 10/100 LAN, 2x USB 2.0, HDMI, webcam, Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit and a 3-cell battery good for up to 6 hours. Weighs 2.14 lb / 0.97 kg.
I am still wondering what happened to the 5W tablet oriented AMD C-50…
