The ACERhas a dual core Nvidia Tegra 250 Cortex A9 processor inside with a low power GeForce GPU to handle the graphics on the A500. The 10.1in capacitive mutli-touch WXGA display has a resolution of 1280 x 800 with a contrast ratio of 1, :1 to enjoy Full HD 1080p playback and via a HDMI port you can display images and video on a larger screen. Aluminum casing adds a sense of quality to the device though it also added to the weight with the Wi-Fi only model weighing in at 700g with the 3G + Wi-Fi model tipping the scales at 730g. The Iconia Tab A500 measures 260 x 177 x 13.3 mm.
It has a rear-facing 5 megapixel camera and front-facing 2 megapixel camera for video calling. It has Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11b/g/n, micro USB and either 16GB or 32GB of in-built storage. The one thing which could set the Iconia Tab A500 apart is clear.fi, which is a media sharing system that enables you to seamlessly sync and share your content across a variety of different devices.
