Back at CES at the beginning of the year we saw a small collection of new netbooks from Samsung, one being the Samsung NS310. The NS310 takes over from the N310, or the Go, as it was named in the US. The original stood out when it debuted several years ago with a rather unique design done by renowned designer Naoto Fukasawa. This new NS310 looks almost identical, except for a glossy lid this time and with specs updated to 2011 with the biggest addition being a backlit keyboard! It hits parts of Europe for 399 euros. This price gets you a 3-cell battery good for up to 5 hours. We’ve previously heard of a 6-cell battery (as one picture shows) good for up to 12 hours though.
The Samsung NS310 sports a matte 10.1″ 1024 x 600 display, Atom N550 processor, 1GB of DDR3 RAM, 320GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 + HS, 4-in-1 card SDXC reader, 0.3MP webcam, VGA out, 3 x USB 2.0, audio jacks, 3-cell 2300mAh battery (5 hours) and Windows 7 Starter. Weighs 1.05kg for the 3-cell battery model.
