VS is a very highend company, but this is a very boring looking netbook. too be that thick & it still only has a 3-cell that sits flush (which means the 6-cell will protrude from the back), plus that KB looks very 2007. only chance they have at selling these is if they are dirt cheap $250 or lower (US) since even the $300 Acer is heaps better.
you clearly have influence Sasha since everybody & there mother invites you too see their new products. you should be honest with these guys about how bad they blew it this time. besides the matte screen/casing it has absolutely nothing going for it that other netbooks dont do better.
i told them already not to go for a 3 cell battery. You can't communicate this to the consumer anymore and yes, they need to be dead cheap with this device! I can't influence this design anymore, cause it just got launched but i am talking to them for the next generation.
UpLinq 2010 in San Diego June 30- July 1, 2010 was full of innovative products and devices. Netbook News was there to capture innovations around mHealth with the Dexcon Wireless Bandaid Offers 7 Days Glucose Monitoring and Bluetooth stethoscopes. Snapdragon tablets are the talk of the town but not at UpLinq, but we did get a hands on with the Snapdragon SDK on the MSM8655 handheld device. Another advancement that it was good to see was around Augmented Reality, Mattel has come out with a remake of the 1960s game Rockem’ Sockem’ whose effects are visually stunning.
