Lenovo’s 10.1-inch Android LePad Slate has just shipped in China and is due out worldwide in June as the Skylight slate as discovered in a Lenovo userguide but CEO Yang Tuanqing just let everyone know that about an LePad sequel. The sequel is due out in September or October, just three to four months after the worldwide launch, although we don’t know if this new tablet will launch in China first like the LePad. It’ll be be slimmer than the original, which is only 0.1mm thinner than the first iPad (see comparison shots). The Lenovo LePad sports a 10.1″ 1280 x 800 display, Android 2.2 (in China), should be Honeycomb worldwide, 1GB of RAM, 16GB / 32GB SSD, 2MP front webcam, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

You can check out the LePad on sale over at 360buy.com in China.
