The Gigabyte T1005 isn’t a new convertible netbook, but the addition of the resistive touch screen for the business user is. The Gigabyte T1005P is different from its predecessor theas it was previously sporting a capasictive touch screen. Most users are clamouring after the capacitive thanks to apple, but its clear the business user like to have a stylus or pen when using this device.
Spec wise the Gigabyte G-Style T1005P is powered by a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor, a 10.1-inch swivels multitouch LED-backlit display with resolution of 1366×768 pixel (WXGA), 1GB of DDR3 RAM, 250/320GB hard drive, Intel GMA3150 graphics processor, USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 ports, optional 3.modem, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, a built-in 1.3 MP camera, a 6-cell Li-Ion battery, and runs Windows 7 Home/starter.
The main difference between this model and the T1005M is that the M has a capacitive screen and the P comes with a multitouch.
