CTIA is the launching ground for Samsung’s latest tablet the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, which menas their lineup will come with a size for everyone: 4, 5, 7, 8.9 to 10.1 inch. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is turning out to be a very attractive device running Android 3.0 or “Honeycomb” and the leaked specs show that the new tablet will be 8.6 millimeters & 470 grams which is a bit thinner then the Apple iPad 2 .

To be exact, Apple’s new tablet is just 0.2 millimeters thicker and its 601 grams makes it a significantly heavier. Samsung also promises its own UI customization with ‘Mini Apps Tray’ which will offer easy switching between multiple applications. With its Nvidia Tegra 2 Dual Core processor and the high resolution of 1280 × 800 resolution to make this a very competitive tablet.
