MSI Tablet 2nd Half of This Year for $500

MSI Tablet

We spotted the MSI tablet at CES 2010 and according to DigiTimes, the MSI tablet will hit the streets in the second half of 2010 for about $500. That’s pretty much the same price as the base model of the Apple iPad. We can’t compare spec sheets yet but we can compare some basic facts. We do know that the MSI tablet will run Google Android while the iPad will run the iPhone OS. The widescreen MSI tablet will be capable of handling 1080p HD video while the iPad tops out at at 720p video playback on its 1024 x 768 pixel display. And from the little that we played with it at CES it looks like the MSI’s device will be able to handle multitasking, and by the time it’s released, Android should be able to support Adobe Flash.

    Look I am not an apple fan boy but looking at all of the windows tablets, heck just the sluggish touch sensitivity slow sad picture two finger sluggish enlargement I am sorry as seemless as the ipad when it comes out you guys & gal's I think it is going to kick bu** because it just works & these slow netbooks transformed into tablets are not going to cut it with apple's sleek gorgeous quick flawless & seemless interface. I use Windows 7, Windows XP, Linux & OSX, but I am sorry but in order for these pc tablet makers to compete with Apple's Ipad then they have to increase the cpu speed like maybe atleast a dual core with decent Graphics card/chip or something, but what I do like on netbooks that the Apple Ipad will not have at least for now is (flash & java) I for onwant to put what ever plug-in or add-on that I please because if I purchase an internet anything it has to shake rattle & role plain & simple I want it to do what I want it to do. That's why Nokia N900 shines so bright because you can watch flash on it for real in a real browser not any of that shaved down mini browser cellphone crap. I am sorry I know the Ipad does not have a lot of the format option nor the flash plug-in but the speed of the interface & seemless touch had me spell bound & I think I will be buying on when it comes out & then waiting for the jailbreak for it because I know one of us computer geeks will hack the thing eventually. Anyway this tablet looks ok but to me way to plain & sluggish every time I see someone use it.
