Here’s our hands on with the upcoming AMD Fusion based 11.6-inch Lenovo IdeaPad S205 notebook over at CeBIT 2011. The S205 is this year’s follow up to last year’s IdeaPad U165 and U160. Interestingly, like the U165 which was also based on an AMD platform, the S205 may never be released in the US. Visually, it’s pretty much identical to those earlier models except it ditches the higher quality matte lids for typical glossy plastic.

Specs – an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 display, AMD Zacate E-350 APU, Radeon HD 6310 graphics, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 750GB HDD, Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, webcam and optional 3G. Ports – HDMI, VGA, 3x USB 2.0, RJ-45 and SDHC card reader.

I didn’t see any mention of price or availability but Lenovo’s official press release at the start of the year mentioned it’ll be out in either March or April.
