Here’s a look at ViewSonic’s Viewpad 10pro announced the other day and on display at MWC 2011 – a 10.1″ Oak Trail Windows 7 / Android tablet. It’s packing a 10.1″ 1024 x 600 multi-touch capacitive display with a 1.3MP front facing camera, up to 2GB of RAM, up to 32GB SSD and various ports – HDMI, USB 2.0, 4-in-1 card reader, reset button and audio jacks. Battery is expected to last about 6 – 7 hours under Windows 7, more under Android. Weight is around 800g.

There’ll be two SKUs – one for Windows 7 Home Premium and another for a dual boot Windows 7 Starter (with multi-touch) and Android, with a quick switch feature that allows you to freely and quickly switch between Android and Windows. No word on pricing but it should be similar to the current Viewpad 10 on the market already ($600) when it hits in late April or early May.
