Australian based Pioneer Computers recently launched the Dreambook ePad F10, their first Oak Trail 10-inch tablet running Windows 7 or Android. The specs – a 10.1″ 1024 x 600 multi-touch capacitive display, Intel Atom Z670 processor (1.5GHz), 16 / 32 / 64 /128GB SSD / up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, WiDi, Bluetooth (optional), 1.3MP camera, 8 hour battery and Windows 7 and Android, 3.5G and ports – HDMI, SIM card slot, 2-in-1 card reader and USB 2.0. Weighs under 700g and measures 243 x 175 x 15mm in size.
Price starts at $499 for a 1GB, 16GB SSD configuration but climbs to $896 if you include 2GB of RAM, 64GB SSD, 3.5G and a 1.3MP webcam. Pre-orders only right now with a shipment supposedly later this month.
