Back at CES at the start of this year, Samsung announced three new netbooks – the NS310, NC110 and NC210. Both the NC110 and use the same design but differ in chassis material and specs with the NC110 being the higher end one, and the first to pop up for pre-order at Amazon.com and JR.com for around $329.
The Samsung NC110 was announced with the yet to be released dual core Atom N570 processor (1.66GHz) which should be available from March according to Digitimes but sadly, these models going up for pre-order only have a single core Atom N455 processor.
The rest of the specs – a 10.1″ 1024 x 600 (matte) display, 1GB of DDR3 RAM, 250GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 10/100 LAN, 0.3MP webcam, HD audio & premium SRS sound, Bluetooth 3.0, a 6-cell battery and Windows 7 Starter. Ports – VGA, 3x USB 2.0 (one sleep & charge) and a 4-in-1 card reader. Battery life is rated at 10.7 hours. Weighs 2.73 pounds.
